Genes inherited from the "family tribe" contribute to the formation of self and identity. Strands of "psychological" chromosomes -- the maternal and paternal branches -- can be traced and calculated through your Family Tree. The inherited pattern is a "psychic imprint" of you, and your siblings. Use your judgment to determine which trait belongs to which family half, and then check the appropriate box. If neither trait applies, check neither box. If both apply, check both boxes. After the Checklist has been completed, press the Results button to calculate the cross-breeding of family traits, and to formulate a chart to represent the inherited "code" that constitutes -- You. Please select the traits that stand out on your mother's side, and on your father's side, associated with most members of that side of the family -- your grandparents, aunts, and uncles. (Mom and Dad should also be included -- but not your brothers and sisters.) Remember, if a particular trait is strong in both your mother's and father's side of the family, check both boxes. If it's mild in both sides of the family, check neither box. |
